The Charlie Waller Trust
Art Exhibition
19 - 22 March, Mall Galleries, London
I am delighted to announce that I have been invited to contribute work to The Charlie Waller Trust’s inaugural exhibition, which brings together the work of over 100 artists, who are donating 50% of proceeds to the Charlie Waller Trust.
Open Studio 2025
30th May - 1st June
I am very much looking forward to this year’s Open Studio, and welcoming people to the space I work in.
My large studio is the starting point for many of my still life paintings. It’s always interesting to see where an artist works. Some people need a chaotic space to be creative in, some very tidy surroundings. Over the years I have collected many things to paint so my studio is a bit chaotic! My paintings are about the intimacy of where I live and the objects I love.
For There She Was
Centenary Exhibition of Virginia Woolf’s Mrs Dalloway through the eyes of 15 Artists.
David Simon Contemporary Art
London: 2 - 8 June
Castle Cary: 14 Jun - 12 July 2025
I am very pleased to have been included in an exhibition celebrating the 100th anniversary of the publication of Virginia Woolf’s Mrs Dalloway. David Simon Contemporary has invited fifteen contemporary visual artists to respond to the novel.
This book of paintings by Alice Mumford and poems by Sue Leigh, celebrates the intimacy and beauty that can be found in our everyday lives, bringing together exciting new work from two makers in which art and language sit side by side, each illuminating the other.

An exhibition of Alice Mumford's paintings to accompany the book,
A Painter and a Poet - Conversations in Colour.
Her objects have at one in the same time a prosaic and a dramatic nature, and symbolise the presence of human beings and the mystery of their daily lives. She has instilled an English flavour into the still life tradition and, in her profound understanding and joyful handling of oil paint, can be likened to Winifred Nicholson and the School of St Ives.
